1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the VeriqX service (“Service”), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this Service.

2. Description of Service

VeriqX provides cryptographic proof of authenticity services for AI-generated content using C2PA (Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity) standards. The Service allows users to:

• Upload digital content
• Add metadata about content creation
• Generate cryptographic proofs of authenticity
• Download verified content with embedded provenance information

3. User Registration

In order to use certain features of the Service, you may be required to register for an account. When you register for an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Promptly update your account information
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. User Content

You retain all rights to the content you upload to VeriqX. By uploading content, you grant VeriqX a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to the content
• Your content does not infringe on any third-party rights
• Your content complies with all applicable laws

5. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs the Site and informs users of our data collection practices.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of VeriqX Technologies Inc. and its licensors.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall VeriqX, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
